Well, I'm 23 years old and the daughter of a preacher man. I'm a shipper-receiver for Tommy Hilfiger in Dartmouth, Ns. I'm an easy going girl and very easy to get along with. I love to drive, and yeah, I can drive a stick. And um... my favorite colour is yellow. :)

Windy... but protected by the walls of OLS

Hey all!
Well, I'm at work, enjoying the protection of the 4 walls that surround me. People seem to be having a lot of modems down today, which has made our que (waiting list of callers) above 20 all day. Very busy. We just had some kids in (children of workers) and had a little easter egg hunt and things. It was cute... and hard to pay attention to callers with cute little girls and boys looking all around for easter eggs and painting eggs too! Reminds me of my childhood! :) Mom and dad always had an easter egg hunt for me. I remember when I was younger, probably 7-9 or so, mom and dad had a major egg hunt for me with clues, and things I had to do to lead me to the 'pot of gold'. Probably one of the funnest things from my childhood, and definitely something I'll be passing on and using with my kids in the future... Wow... my kids. Ha! Don't think I've said that before.

As I get older and take a look around in the 'real world', I really appreciate what mom and dad has done for me all my life. I was spoiled beyond any normal use of the word. Even though we weren't in a great financial situation, I still got everything I wanted somehow (mostly).

It really can be applied to God. Blessing us with things in our lives even though we feel we don't deserve it, or don' t know how it's possible. When we look around at what we have, and what we've been given, and what our Lord has done for us, we can really appreciate God and what he does for us. It's a great analogy! :)

Short post for right now, but I'm sure I'll have more to say today after work.
Happy almost Easter!
